Why Buy three wheel pushchair ?
A three-wheeled buggy is a great option for those who love running in the morning. They come with larger wheels that give a smoother ride, however, they are heavier to store and require a larger car boot.
Those wanting to use their pushchair on outdoor walks ought to consider models that have air-filled tyres (also known as pneumatic) - they cope well on rough terrain and have an swivelling front wheel that can be locked for greater stability.
What is a three-wheeler buggy?
A 3-wheeled buggy is excellent choice for off-roading or for navigating around town. They are easy to handle and can turn on a dime and pass all tests of stability. A fabric sling sits in the frame with a comfortable fit, rather than on top of it like modular seats - this design provides a lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to push and less slams on curbs (you don't need to put any effort or weight to push your buggy over a curb). Mountain Buggy(r), has a world-first: sport verso(tm), which is a three-wheeled inline chassis. It can be used as a baby carrier with a parent's view or as a toddler ride-on board.
Are you planning to go "off-road"?
For those that like to be adventurous and go away from the main roads, it's important that your vehicle can cope with rough terrain. You'll need a reliable suspension system that can absorb bumps, and large wheels with air-filled tyres to provide excellent grip on rough surfaces. A front wheel that locks is also a fantastic feature for stability when jogging on tougher surfaces.
MFM reviewer Kath really put this fun-loving buggy to the test by driving it over rough cobbles, grass and dirt tracks with her infant and 3 year old. She also said "it tackled everything with ease and was even enjoyable to jog with. The 16'' rear wheels and the lockable'swivel' front wheels give great stability when tackling off road paths or uneven surfaces, and the tyres are equipped with suspension to ensure a smooth ride."
Sport verso is a new world first. It's a fantastic single buggy, but it can easily be adapted to accommodate two (or more!) as your family grows all within the footprint of a single buggy! The seats made of fabric are set snugly inside the frame at the perfect height to evenly distribute weight. This makes for a much easier push and a lighter curb-pop.
Do you want to go 'around town Are you looking to explore the city
A 3-wheel buggy includes a single wheel in the front and two wheels at the rear. Based on the model, either the wheel is free to rotate or can be locked, so that the buggy is able to travel in straight lines. Their USP is that they are incredibly manoeuvrable and easy to steer and are often equipped with suspension (which can be useful in tricky terrain) and tyres with air-filled tyres, so the ride is soft and comfortable. This means they are perfect for everyday use around town and are often equipped to handle the popping of kerbs as well as being able to go off road too.

Like any buggy, it is crucial to drive with a sense of responsibility and not be distracted by your smartphone, tablet, or other device. It is also crucial to avoid driving whilst feeling under the influence of alcohol or drugs as this can alter your reaction time and judgment. Check the footprint of your buggy when it is folded in order to ensure that it will fit inside your vehicle.
If you're looking for a buggy that will take you from the park to the shops, look for one with an ample shopping basket and great features like a padded handle, strong brake pedal (that can stop when it hits an upward slope) and a large and extendable 50+ sun canopy. MFM reviewer Kath liked the fabric sling that has an automatic lie-flat mattress for newborns. She also felt that the seating was positioned perfectly within the frame to ensure proper weight distribution. However, she did note that a 4-wheeler could have more storage space.
Do you want to go 'in the park'?
With the amazing maneuverability this fun lovin' 3-wheeler offers it is ideal for urban adventures too. MFM reviewer Kath tried it out to the test and found it navigated grass, bumpy pavements and cobbles very easily. It was also able to handle the city's kerbs because the seat sling made of fabric is placed snugly inside the frame at a perfect height for weight distribution.
This buggy is ideal for jogging too as it can be fitted with lockable swivel wheels on the front and has a'snug & stretch' tyre which gives an extremely smooth ride while you are pounding the streets. The only drawback to the big wheels is that it can be difficult to fold into smaller spaces. It does have some impressive storage options to make up for this! There's a large basket and an opening pocket with zips in the back.
